Here’s your weekly reminder of how brilliant you all are. By giving just a pound a week you are literally changing lives. And we absolutely couldn’t do this without you keeping your eyes and ears open to spot people and causes that would benefit from our help. Thank you so much for reminding us and all our beneficiaries that Kindness is alive and well and that together we can do great things.

This weeks nomination is from our wonderful member Linda who is a funeral celebrant. Linda met a family who she could see immediately needed a little help and the lift of 500 friends sending their love. Thank you Linda for being so wonderful and we wish this family love and strength as they recover from their loss.

Dear 500 Reasons

I am a Funeral Celebrant and I am taking the funeral of Lainey who was just 14 years old. I wish to nominate Lainey’s family who are in real need of a little help. Julie & Rob Bryan have 4 children, and are a close family. Lainey & her sister Lacey both high on the Autistic spectrum and brother Jay has cerebral palsy. Both parents are also struggling with autoimmune disorders.  Lainey was a special little girl who loved art & drawing and Mr Men. Lainey sadly was diagnosed with a stage 4 Midline Metonised Liona only 4 weeks ago and passed away on 29th September. 

As you can imagine, the family are devastated and have financially found the process difficult. I would like to put this family forward to help them to put a donation towards a headstone for their daughter.  They are placing her ashes in a Churchyard opposite Lainey’s very favourite place which is so important to the family.  They are a lovely devoted family who have touched my heart. ♥️
